Black Path Labs Notifications
Our SMS program, in full: who gets messages, what they contain, how consent is collected, and how to stop.
What this program is
Black Path Labs Notifications is a notification and customer-care SMS program. It exists because the systems we run for clients sometimes need to reach a specific person quickly, or need that person to approve something before work continues.
Recipients are people who work with us: client contacts, project owners, and people who have asked us to notify them about a specific piece of work. We do not message anyone else. We do not buy, rent, or scrape phone numbers, and we do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.
What you consent to receive
If you opt in, you consent to receive SMS messages from Black Path Labs Corporation in these categories, and no others:
- Operational status notices: a system we run for you finished a job, or could not finish it.
- Approval and action requests: an automated process has stopped and needs a decision from you before it continues.
- Appointment and scheduling reminders: for calls and meetings you booked with us.
- Account and security notices: a one-time code, or a notice about access to a system we operate for you.
- Customer care replies: answers to questions you send to our numbers.
You do not consent to marketing, advertising, promotions, or messages from anyone other than Black Path Labs Corporation

Every message in this program comes from one of these two numbers. If you receive a message from any other number claiming to be from us, it is not from us. Please forward it to admin@blackpathlabs.com.
How we collect consent
Consent is always explicit and always given by the person who holds the number. We collect it in one of three ways:
- Web form. During client onboarding, the contact enters their own mobile number in a form and ticks an unchecked opt-in box that carries the consent language below. The box is never pre-ticked, and the form submits whether or not it is ticked.
- Written agreement. A named contact provides their mobile number in a signed onboarding document containing the same consent language.
- Inbound text. The person texts one of our numbers first. We reply with the program name, frequency, rates, and opt-out instructions, and confirm before enrolling.
For each enrolment we record the number, the date and time, the method, and the exact wording shown. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can buy and use every service we offer without agreeing to receive text messages, and declining changes nothing about your service or its price.
The consent language you agree to

The privacy policy linked in that language states that no mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and that text-messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the messaging providers that deliver our messages, which may use them only to deliver those messages.
Example messages
Frequency, cost, and stopping
- Frequency. Message frequency varies, because messages follow the work. In typical use this is a small number of messages per month.
- Cost. We do not charge for these messages. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
- Opt out. Reply STOP to any message. We stop immediately and send one confirmation. We also accept END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT.
- Help. Reply HELP for our contact information, or email admin@blackpathlabs.com.
- Carrier delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy of your number
Your mobile number and your consent record are used only to run this program. Our privacy policy sets out the details, including how long we keep consent and opt-out records and how to have your information deleted. In short: the only parties that ever see your number besides us are the messaging providers that deliver the message to your carrier, and they may not use your number for anything else.
